Although February has always been the shortest month, this year it flew by exceptionally fast! Keeping busy sure does keep it fun, though! Kate had a few projects this month that required her unique creativity, and her keen sense of making her client’s vision a reality. With multiple projects going on right now, and my lack of artistic ability to help her, we made the decision to purchase a machine to help her keep up with demand! She designs the work on the machine, and the machine cuts her design for her – it has allowed her to get much more done, it a lot less time!
She was given the opportunity to donate to a silent auction for the school where she used to teach preschool. She opted to make it a “Mommy Time Out Spa Kit” which included a personalized wine glass, sugar scrubs, a face mask, a bottle of wine, etc. Every mommy of a preschooler deserves such a “time out!”
Kate is loving her new nanny family and the freedom that the job change has sllowed for her to work on her business, and wedding planning! (I cannot believe we are less than 6 months away!)
Since my last post, I have obtained my real estate license. I am having so much fun with it. It is a lot of hard work, and there are times that I feel like I am just floating in the middle of a the ocean, with no sense of direction back to land.. but the support of my friends and family has been amazing. I am truly blessed to have such a large group of wonderful people in my corner.
We are eager to use 2017 as a year of growth. Growing KBL Event and Design, growing my real estate business, and growing as a couple.
We have so much to look forward to this year, and for that we are so grateful!
